Details:
On or about Thursday, January 27th, 2022, around 6:45 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles left one person dead and sent another individual to the hospital. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 70 and Highway 128 in Lonsdale, Arkansas.
Authorities from the Arkansas State Police said 51-year-old George Breshears was killed and 56-year-old Jackie Garrett was injured when Breshear’s vehicle allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 70 and Highway 128. After the initial collision, Breshears’s vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Jackie Garrett. Breshears was pronounced dead, while Garrett was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Lonsdale is about 38 miles southwest of downtown Little Rock.
