On or about Thursday, April 8th, 2021, around 6:17 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 64-year-old Flint man dead. Authorities said the accident happened at a gas station at 1609 Nadeau Road in Frenchtown Township, Michigan.

Representatives from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said 64-year-old Glen Hazen Roth was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer while he was walking through the gas station parking lot. Paramedics pronounced Roth dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene.

According to Google Maps, 1609 Nadeau Road is near Interstate 75, about 34 miles south downtown Detroit.

State and local law enforcement are investigating the accident.
