On or about Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, around 4:15 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle rollover accident claimed the life of a 21-year-old woman. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along County Road 24 just outside Perryton in Ochiltree County, Texas.
Texas DPS Troopers said 21-year-old Gloria Hernandez was killed when the passenger vehicle she was driving allegedly drove off the side of CR 24 and rolled several times. Hernandez was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and was subsequently pronounced dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about six miles east of Perryton, which is situated about 113 miles north of Amarillo.
Texas DPS and local officials assisted after the accident.
