Details:
On or about Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, around 5:20 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left a 25-year-old woman dead and sent an adult and two children to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 10 in Beaumont, Texas.
Texas DPS troopers said 25-year-old Gregorian Cater was killed, while another adult and two children were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Interstate 10 and slammed into a tree a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced Cater dead a short time after the accident, while another adult occupant and the two children were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from 7th Street.
Police are still investigating.
