On or about Friday, December 3rd, 2021, around 2:30 in the morning, a head-on collision with an alleged drunk driver left one man dead. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Texas DPS officials said 34-year-old Gregory Scott Rogers was killed when his vehicle was allegedly struck head-on by a vehicle that was driving the wrong direction on Interstate 30. Paramedics pronounced Rogers dead of his injuries at the scene of the collision.

Authorities have since charged the driver of the wrong-way vehicle with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.

Police are still investigating.
