Details:
On or about Friday, March 18th, 2022, a major accident between two passenger vehicles and two concrete pump trucks left one person dead. Troopers from the UHP said the accident was reported along South Midland Drive in West Haven, Utah.
Deputies from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office said 48-year-old Guy Tannehill was killed when a concrete pump truck and two passenger vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along South Midland Drive. Paramedics pronounced Tannehill dead a short time after the collision, but it is not immediately clear if he died at the scene or after he was rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Police did not specify which vehicle Tannehill was in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, West Haven is about 37 miles north of downtown Salt Lake City.
Authorities are still looking into the cause of the accident.
