On or about Friday, January 15th, 2021, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent a 37-year-old St. Clairsville woman to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened on the northbound side of State Highway 149 in Morristown, Ohio.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said 37-year-old Heather Berry was injured when her car allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that pulled into her path when it turned out of a gas station. Paramedics transported Berry to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Officials identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Teodor Dimitrov, who was reportedly uninjured in the crash.

According to Google Maps, Morristown is located about 109 miles west of Columbus.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene to assist in the investigation.
