Details:
On or about Monday, March 21st, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a motorcycle left one person dead. Representatives from the EPPD said the accident was reported in the 7100 block of Chino Drive in El Paso, Texas.
Spokespeople from the El Paso Police Department said 50-year-old Hector Mario Chavez was killed when he was allegedly hit by a motorcycle while he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Chino Drive. Chavez. After the initial accident, the driver of the motorcycle fled the scene. Police arrested 45-year-old Bobby Gabaldon a short distance from the scene.
Gabaldon currently faces charges of accident involving death in connection with the accident.
Police are still investigating the incident.
