
How Many People Died in Alcohol-Related Crashes in Texas in February 2025?
According to preliminary figures from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 44 people lost their lives in alcohol related crashes in February 2025. This represents an increase of six deaths compared to the prior month.
Alcohol crashes also led to 126 serious injuries, 308 minor injuries, and a further 220 possible injuries. In total, the number of injuries declined by 105 from January’s preliminary numbers.
All numbers are preliminary until DPS confirms them at the end of the year.
