On or about Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, around 8:16 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 49-year-old man dead. Officials from the WVHP said the accident was reported along Jackson Road in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Investigators said 49-year-old Howard E. Shirley was killed when the vehicle he was in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Jackson Road. Emergency responders pronounced Shirley dead of his injuries following the accident. Authorities have not mentioned any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Point Pleasant is on the northwest side of West Virginia.
