Details:
On or about Friday, October 8th, 2021, around 8:03 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a minivan sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 84 and County Road 4125 in Scurry County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas DPS said 58-year-old Hung Tran and 57-year-old Shufang Zhao were injured when the van they were in was allegedly hit by the towed trailer of a turning tractor-trailer when it swung into their lane. Emergency responders transported Tran and Zhao to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the collision. Police indicated citations may be issued in connection with the crash.
According to Google Maps, Scurry County is about 87 miles southeast of Lubbock.
