Details:
On or about Monday, June 20th, 2022, around 1:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a firefighter brush truck left two men dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Park Road in Lockhart, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 21-year-old Hunter Coco and 25-year-old Jonathan Coco were killed when the Maxwell Volunteer Firefighter brush truck they were in was allegedly hit by a turning vehicle along State Park Road. Emergency responders pronounced Hunter and Jonathan Coco dead of their injuries after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with San Jacinto Street.
Officials are still investigating.
