On or about Monday, June 20th, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a 22-year-old man dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Freeborn County, Minnesota.
Representatives from the Minnesota State Police said 22-year-old Hunter Lee Robertson was killed when the pickup truck he was driving was allegedly hit head-on by a tractor-trailer that crossed over the center line of I-35 following a tire blowout. Emergency responders pronounced Robertson dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Freeman Township.
