Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car claimed the life of a 20-year-old man. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Clay Road near the intersection with Grand Parkway in Katy, Texas.
Department of Public Safety Trooper said 20-year-old Ibrahima Radjabu was killed when his car allegedly slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler that may have been turning into a business just off Clay Road. Radjabu was pronounced dead of his injuries at the scene of the collision. No other injuries were reported.
Police have since charged Oluwatise Gbadebo with Racing Causing Death in connection with the crash.
Authorities are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
