On or about Thursday, January 27th, 2022, around 1:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a cement truck and a pickup truck sent at least one person to the hospital. Officials from the CHP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 8 in Mission Valley, California.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said at least one individual was injured when a cement truck and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Interstate 8. Emergency responders transported at least one person from the scene to a nearby hospital. Officials did not say which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 4 miles north of downtown San Diego.
