On or about Thursday, November 19th, 2020, a school bus accident resulted in at least one person being hurt. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened at the intersection of Commercial Way and Hexam Road in Hernando County, Florida.
Authorities indicated at least one person was injured when a school bus carrying private school students crashed under unknown conditions. Paramedics reported the injuries were non-life threatening., but did not specify the number of victims. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement.
Examining the intersection on Google Streetview shows Commercial Way is four lanes, with a wide, grassy median dividing north and southbound traffic, while Hexam Road is two lanes that run east and west.
