On or about Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, an accident between a school bus and another vehicle sent several people to the hospital. Law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 44 and McKenzie Road in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Officers from the Corpus Christi Police Department said a school bus driver and an unspecified number of students were injured when the school bus they were in and another vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances. After the initial collision, one of the vehicles rolled, but police did not specify which one. Emergency responders transported the driver and passengers on the bus to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
