On or about Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a van and two tractor-trailers left at least one person hurt. Law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 at the Oak Street overpass in West, Texas.
Officials from the area said at least one individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly jackknifed into the path of a van. After the intial collision, a second tractor-trailer allegedly crashed into the previous accident scene and struck the van. At least one person was injured in the accident, but it is not clear if they were treated at the scene or if they were taken to the hospital by EMS.
Police did not specify which vehicle or vehicles the victims were in at the time of the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
