On or about Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left at least one individual injured. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported on the southbound side of Interstate 540 near the exchange with Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer and a car collided under unspecified circumstances. Emergency responders treated one individual for unspecified injuries after the accident. Police did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 540 runs north and south through Fort Smith, with the scene of the accident situated on the east side of town.
