On or about Friday, October 29th, 2021, a major tractor-trailer accident left at least one individual injured. Deputies from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 84 in Pendleton, Oregon.
Troopers from the Oregon State Police said at least one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer crashed under unspecified circumstances along eastbound I-84. Officials indicated at least one person was injured in the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they were treated at the scene, or if they were taken to a nearby hospital by EMS after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 84 runs east and west through Pendleton, which is about 209 miles east of Portland.
