On or about Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, around 3:30 in the morning, a serious tractor-trailer accident sent at least one person to the hospital. Troopers from the NJHP said the accident was reported along the New Jersey Turnpike in Carney’s Point, New Jersey.
Representatives from the New Jersey Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly crashed into a tollbooth along the New Jersey Turnpike. Paramedics transported at least one individual from the scene to a nearby hospital, but police did not elaborate on the number or nature of those injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
