On or about Monday, November 9th, 2020, around 3:42 in the morning, an accident between an ambulance and a Frito Lay delivery truck resulted in one person being injured. Deputies from Harris County said the accident happened at the intersection of Bissonnet Street and Beltway 8 in Houston, Texas.

Authorities said one person was hurt when a Frito Lay delivery truck allegedly hit an ambulance that was en route to a call. After the initial collision the ambulance collided with a nearby sedan.

One person in the ambulance sustained minor injuries in the accident, and was treated at the scene.

Google Streetview shows Bissonett is six lanes wide with a grassy median dividing east and westbound traffic at the intersection with Beltway 8. The intersection is situated in the southwest part of Houston.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
