Details:
On or about Thursday, December 17th, 2021, around 4:30 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of a 25-year-old man. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported in the 7700 block of Wenda Way in El Paso, Texas.
Authorities from the El Paso Police Department said 25-year-old Isaac Matthew Vargas was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and slammed into an unfinished residence under construction a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Vargas dead at the scene of the accident when it was discovered around 7:30 in the morning.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of El Paso in a residential area.
Police are still investigating the accident.
