Early in the evening of November 22, 2024, Ivan Trodosechky Paniagua Martinez, heading northbound on I-15, collided with the trailer of a black 2020 Peterbilt. Martinez, who had been attempting to change lanes, then slid onto the trailer of another 2020 Peterbilt, where he was fatally injured. The Nevada State Police reports both Peterbilt semi-trucks had slowed due to a 2022 Freightliner ahead of them, which had stopped to attempt an illegal U-turn.
