On or about Friday, March 25th, 2022, around 12:10 in the afternoon, a major accident between a passenger vehicle, a pickup truck, and a utility truck left a 4-year-old child dead and sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Rainbow Bridge on Highway 87 in Orange, Texas.

Law enforcement representatives from the Texas DPS said 4-year-old Ivey Davis was killed, while 39-year-old Angela Deleon, 29-year-old Nicholas Ryman and 40-year-old Christopher Parsley were injured when the car Deleon was driving allegedly collided with a utility truck that had pulled behind a disabled pickup truck along Highway 87. Paramedics rushed Davis, Deleon, Ryman and Parsley to the hospital, where Davis succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance west of Orange.

Police are still investigating the accident.
