On or about Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler sent a 46-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Highway 13 just outside Eastover in Cumberland County, North Carolina.

Investigators from the North Carolina Highway Patrol said 46-year-old Jack Dejohn Jr. was injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly attempted a U-turn and collided with an 18-wheeler driven by Ryan Miller. Paramedics transported DeJohn Jr. to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Miller was unhurt in the collision.

According to Google Maps, Eastover is on the northeast side of Fayetteville.

Authorities are still investigating.
