Details:

On or about Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person dead and injured three others, Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 80 in Van Zandt County, Texas.

Troopers from the Texas DPS said Jackson Adams was killed and three other people were injured when a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 80. Emergency responders pronounced Adams dead a short time after the accident, while three other people were treated for injuries of an unknown nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with FM 2965.

Police are still investigating the crash.
