Details:
On or about Friday, October 22nd, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Authorities from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 in St. Charles County, Missouri.
Officials said Jacob Stauffer was killed and Robert Burkle was injured when the car they were in allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer on I-70 and flipped off the side of the roadway. Paramedics pronounced Stauffer dead a short time after the crash, while Burkle was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 70 runs east and west through St. Charles County, which is located on the northwest side of St. Louis.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
