Details:
On or about Saturday, January 29th, 2022, around 9:25 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 34-year-old Jacksonville woman dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 30 near Gum Springs in Clark County, Arkansas.
Officials from the Arkansas State Police said 34-year-old Jaqueline Zuniga-Ramierez was killed when the car she was driving allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer on I-30. Emergency responders pronounced Zuniga-Ramirez dead of her injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Gum Springs, which is about 74 miles southwest of downtown Little Rock.
Police are still investigating the accident.
