On or about Saturday, April 30th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent a man and a woman from Georgia to the hospital. Spokespeople from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Highway 36 in Linn County, Missouri.
Representatives from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said 48-year-old Jamande Nichols and 41-year-old Janese Freeman were injured when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly veered off the side of Highway 36 and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders transported Freeman to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity, while Nichols was taken by a private vehicle.
