Details:
On or about Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, a major accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 22-year-old Keithville resident. Investigators said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 20 in Ada, Louisiana.
Police said 22-year-old Jamarcea Washington was killed when his car allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer that had stopped or slowed for traffic. Paramedics pronounced Washington dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 runs east and west just north of Ada, which is about 39 miles west of Shreveport.
