Details:
On or about Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, around 9:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 29-year-old man dead. Officials from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of 64th Boulevard and 65th Street in Valley, Alabama.
Authorities indicated 29-year-old Jamario Shontez Wilkerson was killed when his car allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer that had turned into Wilkerson’s path on 64th Boulevard. Wilkerson was pronounced dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the crash.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of 64th Boulevard and 65th Street is on the southern edge of Valley, which is on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, not far from the Georgia state line.
Police are still investigating the accident.
