On or about Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler left one man dead. Representatives from the OSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Butler County, Ohio.

Spokespeople from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said James Barnett III was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly hit the back of a slowing 18-wheeler. After the initial accident, Barnett’s tractor-trailer drove off the side of the roadway and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Barnett dead of the injuries he suffered when he was ejected from the vehicle in the crash.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Hamilton.

Representatives from state and local agencies responded to the crash to assist.
