Details:
On or about Monday, January 31st, 2022, around 8:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 53-year-old man dead. Authorities from the MSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of at 54th Street and Division Avenue in Wyoming, Michigan.
Officials from the area said 53-year-old James Belcher was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was hit by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the street at at 54th Street and Division Avenue. Emergency responders pronounced Belcher dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Wyoming is about 161 miles west of downtown Detroit.
Police are still investigating the accident.
