James Bevins was killed after colliding with a jackknifed semi-truck on Interstate 94 near Mount Hope Road in Grass Lake Township, Jackson County, MI. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department reports the accident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Blevins, a 75-year-old man from Taylor, MI, was pronounced dead at the scene. Weather is believed to have played a part, and the investigation is ongoing.
