On or about Thursday, May 12th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a 51-year-old man dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 79 in Milam County, Texas.
Police from the area said 51-year-old James Larry Roberts was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly drove over the center line of the roadway and struck a tractor-trailer on Highway 79. Emergency responders pronounced Roberts dead of his injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their report on the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is a short distance from Milano.
