On or about Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, around 11:30 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer sent a 65-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident was reported along Route 30 in St. Clair Township, Ohio.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 65-year-old James Ling was injured when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Route 30 near the 33 mile marker. After the initial accident, the tractor-trailer fled the scene.
According to Google Maps, St. Clair Township is about 39 miles north of Cincinnati.
Authorities are still trying to find the driver and tractor-trailer that fled the scene.
