On or about Saturday, February 4th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a 35-year-old Tyngsboro man dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along the Massachusetts Turnpike in Charlton, Massachusetts.
Investigators said 35-year-old James S. Lucas was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down the Massachusetts Turnpike. Emergency responders pronounced Lucas dead of his injuries after the accident, but it is not currently clear if he died at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
