On or about Thursday, December 23rd, 2021, around 9:15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck claimed the life of a 63-year-old Atmore man and sent one other person to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 21 in Escambia County, Alabama.
Police officers said 63-year-old James Millikan was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 21. Emergency responders pronounced Millikan dead of his injuries, while his passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
