Details:

43-Year-Old Marion resident James Nunley Jr. was killed after he was hit by a dump truck driven by a co-worker on I-80 in Washington County, VA. Troopers from the Virginia State Police say the accident took place around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025.

Early reports indicate the dump truck was going in reverse while working in the right shoulder when it struck Nunley. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
