On or about Friday, March 18th, 2022, around 2:40 in the afternoon, an accident between a van and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 53-year-old man. Authorities from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 465 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Law enforcement representatives from the Indiana State Police said 53-year-old James Simison was killed when the van he was driving allegedly collided with the back of a slow moving tractor-trailer along I-465. Emergency responders pronounced Simison dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
