Details:
On or about Friday, February 4th, 2022, around 11:14 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 72-year-old man dead. Law enforcement officials from the area said the accident was reported along Laurel Road near the intersection of Hitch Pond Road in Millsboro, Delaware.
Delaware State Police said 72-year-old James Watson was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly crossed the center line of Laurel Road and struck Watson’s vehicle head-on. Emergency responders pronounced Watson dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Millsboro is about 45 miles south of downtown Dover.
Police are still investigating the accident.
