On or about Monday, October 19th, 2020, around 11:55 at night, a car accident with a pedestrian left a 47-year-old Avon, Indiana resident dead. The accident happened along Highway 180 in Parker County, Texas.
Officers have said that 47-year-old Eric Jason Lane was killed when he was hit by a vehicle while he walked near or tried to cross the roadway just before midnight. Police did not mention a description of the vehicle or the condition of the driver in their release.
Google Maps shows that Highway 180 cuts east and west through the center of Parker County, which is located just west of Fort Worth.
