On or about Friday, June 25th, 2021, an accident between a motor home and a tractor-trailer claimed the lives of three people. Troopers from the TSP said the accident was reported along Highway 158 in Mufreesboro, North Carolina.

Authorities from the area said 66-year-old Jeffrey Collier, 63-year-old Cindy Collier, and 65-year-old Dwight Moss were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the motor home they were in as they were passing through an intersection. Jeffrey and Cindy Collier and Dwight Moss died of their injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial report on the accident.

According to Google Maps, Highway 158 runs east and west through Murfreesboro, which is about 117 miles northeast of Raleigh.

Police are still investigating the accident.
