On or about Friday, February 25th, 2022, around 1:15 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left two people dead and sent two others to the hospital. Officials from the ASP said the accident was reported along State Highway 88 in Mena, Arkansas.
Spokespeople from the Arkansas State Police said 60-year-old Jeffrey Lee Miller and 48-year-old Shannon Carroll Montgomery were killed, while Marcia and John Blosser were injured when the vehicle Miller was driving allegedly veered over the center line of Highway 88 and collided with a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes. Miller and his passenger, Montgomery, were pronounced dead after the accident, while the driver and passenger in the tractor-trailer, John and Marcia Blosser were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 133 miles west of downtown Little Rock.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
