Details:
On or about Sunday, January 24th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left one person dead. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident happened along Route 31 near the intersection with Treaty Line Road in Union County, Ohio.
Investigators said Jeffrey Roberts was killed when the SUV he was driving allegedly failed to yield and struck an 18-wheeler. Emergency responders pronounced Roberts dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary statement.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 42 miles north of Columbus.
Investigators hope to release more information about the accident.
