On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 25-year-old woman dead. Officials from the NJHP said the accident was reported along Route 46 in Roxbury, New Jersey.
Spokespeople from the New Jersey Highway Patrol said 25-year-old Jennifer Gorgas was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly collided with an Amazon tractor-trailer that was blocking the lanes of Route 46. Paramedics pronounced Gorgas dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision in their initial report.
According to Google Maps, Roxbury is about 151 miles south of downtown Newark.
