On or about Thursday, January 20th, 2022, around 4:30 in the afternoon, a serious three-vehicle accident left a 36-year-old woman dead. Officials from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of Lake Road and Loop 121 in Belton, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said 36-year-old Jennifer Hinkson was killed when three passenger vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances at or near the intersection of Lake Road and Loop 121. Emergency responders pronounced Hinkson dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Belton is about 136 miles south of downtown Dallas.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
