On or about Thursday, August 19th, 2021, around 1:15 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and a cyclist sent a 35-year-old man to the hospital. Police representatives from the area said the accident was reported along Hatch Road in Modesto, California.
Officials said 35-year-old Jered Freeman was killed when he was allegedly struck by a box truck as he was riding along Hatch Road near the intersection with Dallas Street. Paramedics transported Freeman to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident. Police identified the driver of the box truck as Kenny Lima-Galdamez, who was unhurt in the accident.
