On or about Monday, June 27th, 2022, around sometime in the early morning hours, a hit-and-run accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 24-year-old Shelton man dead. Troopers from the CSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 91 in Wallingford, Connecticut.
Spokespeople from the Connecticut State Police said 24-year-old Jeremy Bischoff was killed when the vehicle he was in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along Interstate 91. After the initial accident, the tractor-trailer left the scene. Emergency responders pronounced Bischoff dead of his injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Exit 13.
Police are still looking for the driver and truck that left the scene.
